We deliberately opened two points in the CBD because downtown Nairobi is really two shopping worlds. The area around Kenyatta Avenue, Standard Street and Kimathi Street is corporate, formal and quieter after 6pm. The stretch around Tea Room, River Road and Latema is the trading heartbeat — busier, denser, and where most of Nairobi actually shops. One shop cannot serve both crowds equally, so we built two.

Dar es Salaam Road Flagship

Our flagship showroom on Dar es Salaam Road is the mother ship. Junction Trade Centre — Shop B132, Tea Room Road

The Junction Trade Centre store is designed for the walk-in shopper. It is inside JTC directly opposite Tea Room, on the ground-floor concourse, Shop B132. If you are already in the CBD buying kitchenware, phones or fabric, you can pop in, sit on a bike, ask questions, and either wheel one out or have it delivered. It is smaller than the flagship but stocks our fastest-moving commuter and mountain bike models.

Walking Directions From CBD Landmarks

Both shops are genuinely walkable from any point in the CBD. No boda needed unless you want one.

From Kencom (City Hall Way)

To reach Junction Trade Centre from Kencom, head east along Kenyatta Avenue, turn onto Muindi Mbingu Street, then cut across to Tea Room Road. Total walking time is about 8–10 minutes. For the Dar es Salaam Road flagship, head down Moi Avenue past the Hilton and continue toward the industrial-area edge of the CBD — roughly 12 minutes on foot.

From Ambassadeur Hotel

Ambassadeur sits on Moi Avenue, which is a straight shot to both locations. Junction Trade Centre is a 5-minute walk toward Tea Room; the Dar es Salaam Road showroom is about 10 minutes in the opposite direction, past Nation Centre.

From Afya Centre

Afya Centre is almost equidistant. Walk down Tom Mboya Street, cross toward River Road, and Junction Trade Centre is just a few minutes away. The flagship on Dar es Salaam Road is a comfortable 10-minute walk.

Parking in the CBD If You Drive In

Yes, you can drive to us. Nairobi County parking on Dar es Salaam Road costs KES 300 for the day, and there are usually spaces if you arrive before 9am or after 2pm. For Junction Trade Centre, the building has secure basement parking at roughly KES 100 per hour, entered from Tea Room Road side. If you are picking up a bike, tell the attendant — we can help you carry it out and rack-mount it or box it for a boot fit.

We keep demo bikes ready in your size, and there is enough quiet street around Dar es Salaam Road for a proper 10-minute spin. You bring your ID, we hold it, you ride. Most customers get back to their desk by 1:45pm having ridden a Giant Talon or CAMP SR9 for the first time.

At Junction Trade Centre the test ride is shorter because Tea Room area is denser, but we can walk with you to a quieter side street or arrange a full ride at the flagship if you decide to commit.

Lipa Pole Pole: Pay in Bits at Your Own Pace

We do not work with any lender. What we offer is lipa pole pole: you pay towards your bike in bits, at your own pace, and you collect it once it is fully paid. No interest, no paperwork, no credit checks — just the bike you have chosen held for you until the balance is cleared.

Delivery and Payment

We offer same-day delivery countrywide, charged according to destination. Pay on delivery is available within Nairobi only — the rider brings the bike, you inspect it, you pay, they leave. For upcountry orders we ask for a KES 2,000 deposit before dispatch, with the balance settled on arrival.

The Workshop: Why the Flagship Matters

Anyone can sell a bike. Not everyone can service one properly. Our Dar es Salaam Road flagship houses a full workshop with genuine Shimano and SRAM tooling, torque wrenches, bleed kits for hydraulic brakes, and a wheel-truing stand. Standard service prices sit between KES 1,500 for a basic tune-up and KES 6,000 for a full strip-and-rebuild. Puncture repairs are KES 300–500. Brake bleeds are KES 1,500 per caliper.

The maths is now impossible to ignore. A matatu from Buruburu to town is KES 100 one way, KES 200 return, KES 4,000 a month, KES 48,000 a year. For a mountain bike, entry-level TWITTER hardtails begin at about KES 55,000. Anything cheaper than that from any shop is usually a false economy — you spend more on repairs than the bike is worth.

Do you accept M-PESA and card payments?

Yes to both. We accept M-PESA, all major debit and credit cards, bank transfer, and our own lipa pole pole arrangement where you pay in bits and collect the bike once it is fully paid.
